BLACKPINK IS SLAYING THE WORLD OF KPOP
August 08, 2016 3:00 PM SKT - BLACKPINK officially released their 2 debut tracks "BOOMBAYAH" and "WHISTLE" from their debut album "SQUARE ONE". After the long wait and witness the crazy reaction of the people about their songs, it's safe to say that it was worth waiting for.
YG Entertainment succeeded its first step on making a huge debut for BLACKPINK not just only in Korea but internationally. They made a blast on creating a monster rookie. I personally appreciate Teddy for giving an incredible details on producing a perfect song for this group. We all know that Teddy was the producer of 2NE1's debut track "FIRE" which is one of the most unforgettable debut song for a rookie girl group in K-pop history.
YG Entertainment perfectly molds each member to compliment each girl's individual talent, from their vocals to rappers.
Lisa - She's not just visually captivating but a total package, from being an excellent dancer but also a good singer and an incredible rapper. She's the first non Korean artist of YG but she proves that she deserves to be one of YG Royalties.
Jennie Kim - Ever since YG introduced this girl to the public as YG's new trainee, everyone has an eye on her. She got our attention when she was featured on G Dragon's live performance of "BLACK" and the girl from "That XX" Music Video. We heard her voice on Seungri's "GG Be" and Lee Hi's "Special". She got that iconic charisma that pulls everyone's attention. Some says that she is the next CL of YG. Aside from her overwhelming rapping skills she is also has an angelic voice.
Jisoo - People notice her exceptional beauty which made her one of the most demand models of Korea today, but surprisingly she's not just have the looks but this girl has also a unique voice.
ROSÉ - The three members are already viewed to public until YG revealed that she's the girl from GD's "Without You" from the album "ONE of a KIND". Who can believe that this powerful voice was recorded from a 14 year old Rose`. She has this voice that sounds like a combination of powerful voice of Park Bom and Minzy (former member of 2NE1). She was also featured on several MV's of YG artist like Taeyang's "Ringa Linga", G Dragon's "ONE OF A KIND" and "the Baddest Female" of CL. She is also got that move when she dance like she showcased on their dance practice video.
Yang Hyun Suk (YG Ent. CEO) admits that they didn't try too hard to create a difference between BLACKPINK and 2NE1. YG focus on making music with a YG signature and people accepted it positively as BLACKPINK incredibly achieve an "ALL KILL" on music charts in Korea and "SQUARE ONE" is No. 1 in worldwide album on itunes chart and continues until this moment.
As of today BLACKPINK "BOOMBAYAH" reached 4.8 Million views on YouTube and "WHISTLE" got 4.3 Million views and still on counting.
Considering that they just debuted more than 24hours ago, we can already assume that they are a certified Monster Rookie of 2016.
